April 30th is a big holiday in Holland. It's called Queen's Day, and it's kind of like the 4th of July. Everyone wears orange and eats food and spends time with their families. They also sell things in the street, like a giant, country-wide garage sale. In this picture we were having lunch at a friend's house in Delft. Anna had just been outside to have a butterfly painted on her face, as you can see.

Grandpa bought a Dutch national soccer jersey for the occasion.

Oh my, I miss you guys so much. The pictures and movies are beautiful. I can't believe how tall the kids look. Tell Papa Buddy to be good. He and Cindy are awesome grandparents and my grand kids need them. Love you all and can't wait to see you here in this lovely place called Utah.
Grandpa is good all the time. He hadn't eaten a burger in a year and a half. He tells everyone he feels like a gerbil. He eats salad and then runs on a wheel (he runs at least an hour everyday on top of biking and everything else).
April 30. Good day for celebrations. Beautiful.
Looks like you guys are having tons of fun over there. So now it's time to stop playing and hurry back to D.C. real fast before we move. :-) We really miss you guys so much and Kadyn still talks about Anna and asks where she is. So just come back already would ya?
Lisa, how dare you leave DC. Is money all you care about? Shouldn't you be thinking more about me?
Rude.
